“Chévere” es una explosión creativa que busca hacerse camino en el mundo y mostrar que ésta condición no limita las capacidades intelectuales de la persona que la tiene.
Es un libro para colorear de primeras palabras venezolanas, dirigido a niños a partir de cuatro años, creado por el ilustrador y diseñador gráfico, Santiago Gutiérrez, junto al apoyo de su madre, artesana e ilustradora, Karla Sellanes.
TALENTO ASPERGER
Este libro busca enseñar, pero sobretodo, mostrarle a la sociedad las capacidades con las que cuentan las personas con Síndrome de Asperger, quienes, a diferencias de otros individuos, cuentan con una creatividad desbordante y una particular e increíble perspectiva del mundo que los rodea, digna de admirar.
“Parte importante de este proyecto ha sido involucrar a Santiago en su condición Asperger. Además de ser mi apoyo en lo que es la diagramación, es una gran oportunidad para que él muestre su talento y capacidades”, señaló Sellanes.
Es importante que la sociedad y las empresas, les den a las personas con este síndrome “el espacio y la oportunidad de desarrollar todas sus habilidades”.
“Nunca rendirse”, este fue el puntual y conciso mensaje que envió Gutiérrez a todas las personas que como él, tienen esta condición. Además, llamó a las personas a tener más empatía con respecto a este tema.
El libro, cuya editora es Mariangela Gutiérrez, por tema de costos no se ha podido imprimir en Venezuela, siendo impreso fuera del país y distribuido a través de Amazon en el siguiente LINK.

Además, dieron la buena noticia de que el segundo libro está a punto de ser lanzado, inspirado en unos personajes elaborados por Sellanes.
“Es un libro que se llama Los Boublis, sobre unos personajes que he realizado con tela y forman parte de esta nueva historia”, indicó.
Sellanes y su hijo crearon ambos libros para acercar a aquellos niños venezolanos que viven en el exterior a nuestra idiosincrasia y cultura.
Además, buscan despegarlos de las pantallas y la tecnología, para conectarlos con su expresión creativa.
Señaló que es muy importante que los niños desarrollen su expresión creativa, por ello, surge la necesidad de crear un libro que los aleje de los aparatos electrónicos y les permita compartir tiempo de calidad con sus cuidadores o padres, mientras aprenden.
Chévere es una prueba tangible de lo fuerte que puede ser el amor de una madre, y la oportunidad de enseñarle al mundo el talento venezolano.
